Athletics, Aesthetics, and Academics

By: Aashika Uppala

Are you in good in one of these areas?  Cooper Norman, Faith Thomas, and Abbie Hall are!  Cooper Norman is an athlete, who plays football, basketball and baseball. He says, “I eat salads and yogurt, and do sit-ups and push-ups every morning.” Cooper works really hard to have that much energy to play 3 sports. Part of being an athlete is eating right and exercising daily.

Abbie Hall has an artistic ability to design, decorate, and take pictures of many things. She says, “By doing art, I’m able to express my feelings through it." Abbie is also a photographer on the Bondurant Newspaper Club. Abbie always had a dream for designing many things. She knits, stitches, weaves and sews. She also decorates things. Abbie’s working really hard to be the best at what she can be.

Last, but not least, Faith Thomas does Aesthetics and Academics. Faith works really hard to be best in both Aesthetics and Academics. One cool fact about Faith is that her Dad got several pictures and articles posted on the State Journal! Faith creates different sorts of things with clay and makes sculptures. Faith also has an academic side; she recently made the Battle of the Books team for 6th grade.  Faith gets really good grades, she says her best subjects are Math and Art. Some advice from Faith is, “Pay attention in class and ask questions when needed.”

Cooper, Abbie, and Faith are 3 students in 6th grade who are really talented people in these areas.  If you want to become talented in these areas - then work hard and focus on your dream, not someone else’s. That’s how you accomplish your goal! Let’s wish Cooper, Abbie, and Faith good luck on their next events!
